SOCKET SCREWS
ISO 4028 Dog Point Socket Set Screws
Headless socket set screws with dog point for positioning and retention in mechanical assemblies.

Product Overview
A projecting dog point engages a matching hole or groove to locate a component while the threaded body remains in the supporting part. It can be useful in guide, stop and collar arrangements. The point diameter, projection and mating feature need to be specified together to prevent bottoming or unintended contact.
State the thread size, overall length, point detail and mating material in the enquiry. Hardness class, thread fit and the permitted setting torque must be selected for the application. Supplier confirmation is required for the requested material and size.
