NUTS
DIN 562 Thin Square Nuts
Thin Square Nuts for specified threaded assemblies, with engagement and mating dimensions reviewed.

Product Overview
The thin square profile fits shallow captive pockets where a regular square nut would be too tall. It is suitable for light fastening arrangements whose thread engagement has been checked. Reduced nut height limits the available engagement, so the joint should not be designed on the assumption that it behaves like a full-height nut.
Specify thread diameter and pitch, required material, finish and the mating bolt or rod. Include space restrictions and any inspection or proof-load requirement. The requested configuration and packaging must be confirmed before ordering.
