NUTS
DIN 557 Square Nuts
Square Nuts for specified threaded assemblies, with engagement and mating dimensions reviewed.

Product Overview
A square external profile can be retained by a matching pocket or channel and provides broad wrenching faces. The mating recess should allow the nut to seat while limiting unwanted rotation. This family is distinct from thin square nuts, with thickness and across-flats dimensions that must match the intended pocket.
Specify thread diameter and pitch, required material, finish and the mating bolt or rod. Include space restrictions and any inspection or proof-load requirement. The requested configuration and packaging must be confirmed before ordering.
