Product Overview
A closed domed end covers the projecting male thread and provides a finished outer profile. It can reduce exposure of thread ends on machinery and fittings, but the internal cap depth limits how far the bolt may extend. The nut must seat on its bearing face before the bolt end reaches the inside of the cap.
Specify thread diameter and pitch, required material, finish and the mating bolt or rod. Include space restrictions and any inspection or proof-load requirement. The requested configuration and packaging must be confirmed before ordering.
